Our Philosophy

In dialogue with nature

A combination of instinct, courage and trust in nature – organic winemaking. That requires manual work, patience, sparing use of
natural resources, vitality and sustainability. On the one hand, it is a philosophy; on the other hand, it is the pursuit of perfection. Perfection in wine, but also in the protection of nature.

Biodynamic viticulture

Always in rhythm

According to Jochen Dreissigacker, biodynamic viticulture is a logical progression for anyone who firmly gets to grip organic winemaking. The aim is to work in a way that is as close to nature as possible in order to create optimal conditions for the grapes to thrive and grow. The essence of biodynamic winemaking is working in cycles through which nature supports, protects and strengthens itself. In this way, nature’s own strengths can be captured and used, before being returned to the natural cycle. The grapes and wines achieve exceptional quality, while nature remains sustainably strengthened on the other. It is a case of give and take, a form of mutual respect.

Matured Rieslings

RIESLING - TRUE AND UNIQUE

We want to present natural and unadulterated wines with an unmistakable character that perfectly reflect the special features of their respective vineyards and have been developed in such a way that they have particularly good ageing potential. No other grape variety allows wines to mature in such a special way. Riesling only reveals its full potential after a few years. That is why we focus on time, because in the end it is time that gives our Rieslings their full splendour.

innovation

VISION AND FORWARD THINKING

Dreissigacker's philosophy is characterised not only by a return to old values and sustainability, but also by innovation, foresight and forward thinking. This is how Jochen Dreissigacker managed to catapult the winery to the top of German viticulture. As the owner of one of the first wineries to sell selected wines via NFTs, he is once again demonstrating his pioneering role in the industry. Dreissigacker wines can be found not only in Germany, but also internationally on the best wine lists in top gastronomy.
