Dreissigacker Vintages is the result of a fascinating process that begins in the vineyards around Bechtheim, continues in the cellars of the winery and culminates in an outstanding Riesling cuvée. A wine that demonstrates the diversity of flavours of the Riesling grape. Born from the idea of recreating the magic of the Champagne Grand Cuvée in a Riesling still wine. Achieved through assemblage, the method used by the great Champagne winemakers to harmoniously combine the complexity of different vintages in one bottle. Dreissigacker Vintages is a wine bottled with dedication and passion for Riesling and the constant pursuit of innovation and progress, with the first edition in spring 2018.

COMPLEX, INDEPENDENT, GRANDIOSE

Vintages Riesling is an exceptional creation that highlights the complexity and richness of Riesling. This wine does not reflect the individual style of any one winemaker, but is a celebration of the many facets of the Riesling grape. 

 What makes Vintage Riesling so special is the way in which it skilfully brings out all the characteristic qualities of Riesling. These are measured and yet present in every nuance. The harmonious balance between the different flavours and structures that Riesling can produce makes Vintages Riesling a unique wine. From fruity accents to mineral nuances, each vintage reflects the diversity and depth that Riesling has to offer. 

 A key feature of Vintages Riesling is the consistency of its style over the years. Despite annual variations, the characteristic style of the Vintages remains, with maturity over time giving each wine a harmonious finish. Time acts as a subtle refiner, refining the flavours and bringing them into perfect harmony.

The Counterpart – Vintages Red

The fourth edition of our Dreissigacker Vintages Red, created from two grape varieties and two vintages.

The Pinot Noir is perfectly complemented by St. Laurent as a strong partner. Vintages Red Edition IV combines two different vintages – 2021 and 2022.

Aged 100% in barrique and matured on the lees for 3 years, this red wine now presents itself as elegant, fruity, and harmonious.
