Dreissigacker philosophy

Healthy earth, a working cycle, a balanced environment. The basis of our wine is the soil. It is the foundation, and it is what allows anything to grow at all. We take that responsibility towards the environment seriously and make the Dreissigacker wines biodynamically without exception. Biodynamic viticulture agrees with organic viticulture on many points, but places even greater emphasis on a holistic view of growing and farming. The aim is to produce high-quality organic wines in accord with nature. The more we pay attention to nature and trust it, the more quality it gives back. That standard demands a great deal of time, patience and knowledge, so we farm with a long horizon in order to stay as close as possible to the natural cycle. We are convinced our patience pays off, because a natural product like wine can only reach the highest quality if nature is healthy. That is what we look after at Dreissigacker.
