Single vineyards

The six single vineyards of Weingut Dreissigacker lie in the heart of Rheinhessen, around Bechtheim and Westhofen. Each one is individual and many-sided, and each shapes the Dreissigacker wines in its own way.

The Bechtheim sites Geyersberg, Hasensprung and Rosengarten enjoy a great deal of sun almost all year round, and you taste that warmth in every sip.

Because of the cooler climate, the grapes from the Westhofen sites take longer to ripen and bring forth mineral Rieslings.

One of the best and warmest sites in Rheinhessen. Weathered limestone soils combined with a singular climate lay the foundation for incomparable Rieslings.

The Hasensprung is marked by heavy clay soils. The grapes ripen more slowly here than in almost any other site, which yields concentrated, full-bodied, finely spiced wines of strong and unmistakable character.

The dominant soils in the Rosengarten are loess loam and limestone. As one of the warmest sites in Bechtheim, it gives wines rich in ripe fruit aromas, concentrated and long on the palate.

Clay marl and loess loam dominate the Aulerde. The site combines the minerality of Westhofen with an enormous ripeness and complexity. Ageing in large oak casks refines the qualities of the Aulerde whites further.

Limestone fragments and limestone bedrock let the Kirchspiel grapes mature into wines of great finesse and elegance. The Kirchspiel Riesling grows more complete with every year of maturation.

Limestone and limestone bedrock in the subsoil give the Morstein the basis for its singular minerality. The wines that grow here have few equals.
