Single vineyard sites

The single vineyards in Bechtheim and Westhofen

The six individual vineyards of Weingut Dreissigacker are located in the heart of Rheinhessen, surrounding Bechtheim and Westhofen. Each single vineyard is unique and multifaceted, shaping the Dreissigacker wines in its very own way.

The individual vineyards in Bechtheim, Geyersberg, Hasensprung, and Rosengarten are blessed with abundant sunshine almost all year round, making the warmth palpable with every sip.

Due to the cooler climate, the grapes from the single vineyards in Westhofen take more time to ripen, producing mineral-driven Rieslings.

Geyersberg

One of the best and warmest sites in Rheinhessen. Weathered limestone soils in combination with a unique climate lay the foundation for incomparable Rieslings.

Rabbit Jump

The Hasensprung is characterized by heavy clay soils. The grapes ripen more slowly here than in almost any other vineyard, resulting in concentrated, full-bodied, and subtly spicy wines – strong in character and unmistakable.

Rose Garden

The predominant soil types in Rosengarten are loess loam and limestone. As Rosengarten is one of the warmest sites in Bechtheim, the wines are rich in ripe fruit aromas, concentrated, and long on the palate.

Aulerde

Clay marl and loess loam are the dominant components of the Aulerde. The site combines the minerality of the Westhofen site with tremendous ripeness and complexity. Maturation in large oak barrels further refines the characteristics of the white wines from the Aulerde.

Parish

Limestone skeletal deposits and limestone rock allow the grapes of the Kirchspiel to ripen into fantastic, sophisticated, and elegant wines. The Kirchspiel Riesling becomes more perfect with each year of aging.

Morstein

Limestone and limestone rock in the subsoil give the Morstein the foundation for its unique minerality. Wines grow here that are second to none.
