What we believe

Dreissigacker wines are decidedly not everybody's darling. They divide opinion, and that is exactly why they have a large following. They fit no pattern, no cliché and no stereotype; they are deliberately independent, unadulterated and singular. We have therefore made it our task to carry our soils and our sites into the bottle as close to nature and as gently as possible. Sustainability, closeness to nature and, in the end, time are what define our wines.

Organic viticulture. That means manual work, patience, careful use of natural resources, vitality and sustainability. A philosophy on one side, the pursuit of perfection on the other. Perfection in the wines, and equally in protecting nature. Instinct, courage and trust in nature, working together.

Biodynamic viticulture, in Jochen Dreissigacker's view, is the logical next step for anyone who engages seriously with organic viticulture. The aim is to work as close to nature as possible, to create the best conditions for the wine to thrive. At the heart of biodynamic practice is working in cycles: nature supports, protects and strengthens itself in recurring circles.

We want to present natural, unadulterated wines of unmistakable character, wines that reflect the particularities of their site precisely and are aged so that they keep exceptionally well. No other grape variety matures quite like this one. Riesling shows its full stature only after some years. So we invest in time, because in the end it is time that gives our Rieslings their full splendour.

Dreissigacker's philosophy rests not only on traditional values and sustainability, but equally on innovation, foresight and forward thinking. That combination is how Jochen Dreissigacker brought the winery to the forefront of German viticulture. As the owner of one of the first wine estates to sell selected wines as NFTs, he again shows his pioneering role in the industry. Dreissigacker wines appear on the best wine lists of leading restaurants in Germany and internationally.
