Clarity and Brilliance – Kirchspiel Riesling 2019

This Riesling is characterized by yellow fruit aromas and impresses with a fine interplay of fresh acidity and intense fruit. The single vineyard site in Westhofen, facing east, is extremely multifaceted and complex, and the grapes ripen accordingly more slowly. Due to the longer ripening period, the grapes develop an exceptionally rich fruit aroma, which is particularly evident in the Kirchspiel Riesling 2019. Harvested comparatively late and selectively by hand, the perfectly healthy berries were gently trodden by foot at the winery and carefully pressed after a long maceration period. To preserve the aromas, the wine was exclusively aged in stainless steel tanks. The result is a wine of exceptional clarity and radiant brilliance, which can mature for several more years under optimal conditions. Therefore, we allow our wines, including the Kirchspiel Riesling 2019, sufficient time to develop optimally and reach the perfect stage of maturity. We only release our top wines to you when they begin to reveal their full potential.
