Grown under the best possible conditions, developed with intuition and dedication – in 2019, using grapes from the Aulerde vineyards, we created a single-vineyard Riesling whose mineral freshness, fruit, and complexity are already remarkable today. Its current aromatic profile shows what an exceptional wine the 2019 Aulerde Riesling can become if we give it time to fully mature. We have reserved this privilege for a limited number of bottles of the 2019 Aulerde Riesling. We will store these bottles in our cellars for several years – until Jochen Dreissigacker certifies their optimal maturity. By purchasing the Aulerde Riesling 2019 NFT, you secure one of these few bottles for the future. A uniquely assigned bottle will be stored until then under conditions that could not be more favorable for long-term aging. At the same time, you also receive a counterfeit-proof digital asset – the NFT, and thus the exclusive, virtually tradable right of reference. NOTES The Aulerde Riesling 2019 NFT is also available internationally upon request.

Ideal Conditions and the Art of Refinement – the 2019 Dreissigacker Aulerde Riesling

The year 2019 brought a moderate summer with the perfect amount of light and warmth. Thanks to moderate rainfall, our deep-rooted vines were well supplied with water. The weather conditions, the medium-heavy soils of the Westhofener Aulerde, and our consistent yield reduction created the best conditions for healthy growth and powerful grapes. To give the Riesling berries enough time to develop their site-typical finesse, we designed the canopy in such a way that the grapes ripen slowly and calmly. The result proved us right: ripe grapes with wonderful freshness. The foundation of an outstanding Riesling. To exploit the full potential of this aroma created by nature and manual labor, we proceeded with great sensitivity during vinification. We gently trod the berries with our feet and deliberately macerated them only briefly. Afterwards, the grapes were gently pressed in two pressure phases. This ensured that they retained their natural freshness while we simultaneously brought out their richness and power. We then allowed the wine to ferment 100 percent spontaneously on natural yeasts in stainless steel. Over another year and a half on the fine lees, the wine further developed its filigree acidity, spiciness, and complexity, finally to be bottled in the summer of 2021 as a fresh, mineral, yet dense and fruit-driven wine. It has been maturing in the bottle ever since.
